Richard L. Campbell, 72, of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010. He was born in Hardin County on May 19, 1938.

Mr. Campbell retired from Glacier Daido and attended the First Church of God, Bellefontaine.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda; daughters, Robin (Michael) Vandegrift and Sharon Campbell; son, Richard L. (Tina) Campbell Jr.; sister, Mary (Darrell) Kuck; brother, Ernest “Bob” (Mary Ann) Campbell; grandchildren, Sabrina (Nathan) Moceri and Logan and Lance Campbell; great-grandchildren, Dakota and Aryna Moceri; and several nieces and nephews.


WB Richard F. Smith, 92, of Bellefontaine, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Green Hills Retirement Community.


James E. Collum, 82, of Belle Center, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Green Hills Care Center, West Liberty.


Ivan Q. Daniels, 91, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday, June 14, 2010, at Mary Rutan Hospital.

He was born in Knoxville, Ky., on Dec. 11, 1918, a son of the late John and Anna Belle Lowe Daniels.

On Sept. 22, 1940, he married Frances Kinney in Burlington, Ky., and she died Nov. 28, 2004. She also was preceded in death by a son, Gary E. Daniels; brothers, Charles, Marion, Harold and William Daniels; and sisters, Lola Taylor and Shirley Sargent.

Survivors include a daughter, Kim (David) Rogers of Bellefontaine; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Daniels of Thurmont, Md.; six grandchildren, Brandy and Bridget Rogers, Barbie (Matt) Hood, David Rogers II, and Matt and Jamie Kerns; and eight great-grandchildren.

In 1936 he started the Daniel's Music Company in Bellefontaine.

A member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine, he was a life member of the Bellefontaine BPOElks 132 for 51 years, and was a member of the Bellefontaine Masonic Blue Lodge 209, Royal Arch Masons of Ohio, Lafayette Chapter 60, Royal and Select Master Mason, Scottish Rite, Grand Council Royal and Select Mason of Ohio, 32nd Degree Mason, The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio, Commandery, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, the Eastern Star, Kentucky Colonel, Moose Lodge and VFW Post 1080.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, with a Masonic service at 7:45 p.m. Pastor Casey Storm leads a funeral at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial is in the Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
